Early childhood milestones are the focus of the KBDA Junior School curriculum, including our Emerald Dance Foundation class and Emerald Extension Programme.

 

Emerald Dance Foundation 

At this level, structured lessons include Ballet, Tap and Modern dance styles that form a strong foundation for all other dance genres. Children develop a love for movement while practising cognitive, gross motor and creative problem-solving skills. As they progress, they develop balance, rhythm, and coordination while learning essential social skills too.

To celebrate milestones in their dance journey, each child is awarded a certificate at every level. Additionally, the children's learning journey includes a 'Viewing Day,' where family and friends can watch their progress, providing an opportunity to share their joy and development.
